Vivian "Viv" (Oney) Hoffman, age 79, of Norwalk, passed away Monday evening, June 27, 2022, at Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born June 10, 1943, in Sandusky, to the late Willard and Vivian (Frances) Oney. She had a spiritual soul and was a caregiver for so many people over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, astrology, traveling, and cooking.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Sara) Hoffman of Norwalk and Mark Hoffman of Norwalk; siblings, Robert (Betty) Shearer and Gwendolyn "Sue" (Andy) Knoll; grandchildren, Mickel (Kurt Murray) Hoffman, Hans (Melissa) Hoffman, Michael J. (Melissa) Hoffman, Justin Hoffman, Anthony Hoffman, and Ellysee (Seth) Meagrow; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Samantha, Clayton, Brody, Colton, Jemma, Connor, Campton, Liv, Cashton, Josie, and Zachary.
She was preceded in death by her son, Hans Rob Hoffman in 2021.
Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A graveside service will be Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. at the Chapel at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.
