Sandusky
Virginia Deal, 82, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at The Meadows at Osborn Park after a brief illness.
Virginia was born Sept. 1, 1941, to LeRoy Wagner Bunge and Lenora Clare Wendt. She was a resident of Sandusky her entire life, graduating from Sandusky High School in 1960.
Virginia's survivors include her husband of 63 years, Chester E. Deal Sr.; four daughters, Barbara Deal, Sandra Deal, LaRae Saiyari of Sandusky, and Connie (David) Giaco of Huron; three grandsons, Joshua Foos, Theodore Garrett II, and Jaden Garrett, all of Sandusky; three granddaughters, Adriana Giaco, Samantha Giaco of Huron, and Jenna Deal of Toledo; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Karl Frederick Bunge; sister, Carole Mae Bunge; and son, Chester E. Deal Jr.
At her request, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery where at that time the family will have a private celebration of life. Again, at her request, there will be no open service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
