Doris Nadine Morello, 89, of Morris, formerly of Marseilles, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at her home.
Funeral services will be private at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Pastor Sherry Stevenson of Crossbridge Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
She was born on February 25, 1933, in Newman, KY, to Carl and Lola (Perkins) Osborne. In 1981, she married Joseph Morello of Marseilles, who preceded her in death in 2015.
Nadine was employed by Ottawa Hospital working in home health and private care, and she also managed the Ravlin Center in Ottawa until her retirement. She had worked at the Dan Jack and at Doc Cowan's office. Her favorite past times were raising flowers, reading, watching Nascar, baking, chocolate, visiting her favorite place New Symrna Beach, FL, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Glendean Mae Burton, Gary Michael (Cindy) McDonald, and Carla Jean (Jerry) Brandow; seven grandchildren, Melony Nowatka, Matthew Bouley, Judd and Justin Dumke, April Jording, Lisa Weygand, and Robert McDonald; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary (Janice) Osborne.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; two great-grandsons, Matthew Nowatka and Ashton Lunsford, one brother, Carl Osborne, Jr.; and two sisters in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Marseilles Nursing Service.
Her grandsons and great-grandsons will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Brandow, Ed Bouley, and Jessa Weygand.
