Timothy W "Tim" Murray Sr.

Greenwich

Timothy "Tim" W. Murray Sr, 69, of Greenwich, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born July 25, 1955, in New London to the late Donald E. and Winifred H. (Cook) Murray. He graduated from Western Reserve High School and served in the US Navy from 1979 to 1983. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, being a gun enthusiast, and operating CB and Ham Radio.

He is survived by his children, Jamie Beaver of Greenwich, Timothy W. Murray Jr. of Greenwich, Angela Murray of Norwalk, and Dawn (Tom) Doughty of Greenwich; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cindy (Ken) Wilson and Dea Sowards; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva Louise Murray in 2021; and his brother, Donald Murray Jr. in 2021.

There will be no visitation and a celebration of Tim's life and military honors will be at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
