Tami L. Nightengale, 58, of New London, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1967, to the late Jack and Phyllis (Sue) Brock.
Tami graduated from New London High School in 1986. She deeply loved her family and was known for her compassionate heart. Over the years, she opened her home to many foreign exchange students and truly enjoyed hosting them. A talented cook, she loved to make food for everyone to enjoy together. While she adored her children, her most cherished moments were those spent with her grandchildren.
Tami is survived by her children, Shane, Anthony, and Joseph Nightengale; her grandchildren, Campbell Scott Mallory, Anthony Scott Nightengale, Alayna Nightengale, Hayden C. Nightengale, and Zoey-Ann Nightengale; her siblings, Deborah (Steve) Pounds and Terry Brock; her brother-in-law, Eber Overly; and her former husband, Scott Nightengale.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Jack and Phyllis (Sue) Brock; and siblings, Jack Brock Jr. and Vada Hamilton.
Graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Fitchville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to a local food pantry of your choice.
