Tamara S. Carpenter, 56, of Panama City, Florida, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at home following a battle of cancer.
She was born Dec. 24, 1966, in Sandusky, to William J. Bretz and Diane S. (Wicker) Bretz. Tamara graduated from Margaretta High School in 1985.
Tamara is survived by her life partner, Timothy M. Foy of Panama City, Florida; two sons, Travis L. Carpenter of Toledo and Timothy P. Foy of Panama City, Florida; sister, Tonya M. Bretz of Spring Hill, Florida; brother, Tobias G. Bretz of Florida; stepsister, Jerri J. Stacy of Sandusky; stepbrother, Alan E. Stacy of Georgia; aunt, Barbara A. (Wicker) Pitsenbarger; two nieces, Elizabeth C. Stephens and Sarah A. (Brent) Knight, both of Spring Hill, Florida; and additional family and friends.
Tamara is preceded in death by her mother, Diane S. (Wicker) Eppse; father, William J. Bretz; brother, Thadius R. Bretz; paternal grandparents, George A. Bretz and Ruth E. (Link) Bretz; maternal grandparents, Robert C. Wicker and Mary J. (Pavia) Wicker; and additional relatives.
Private family arrangements will follow.
Heritage Funeral Home of Panama City, Florida, has been entrusted with arrangements.
