Susan Linea (Bauman) Cronk, 66, went home to God on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, surrounded by her daughters after an impressive battle with aggressive cancer.

She is survived by her daughters, Alethea Fry, Kimberly Ungerer, and Miana Cronk; grandchildren, Tory Fry and Trinity and Gabe Ungerer; brother, Dean Bauman; and sister-in-law, Judi Norwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Boomer" Bauman and Louise (McPherson); brother, Kevin Bauman; sister, Bethan Solis; and husband, Charles Cronk.

Sue graduated in 1974 from Norwalk High School. She retired from Freudenburg in Milan, where so many remember her for her hilarious sense of humor, quick wit, warm heart, and quiet strength.

Sue was a skilled archer, loved reading, and adored her tuxedo cat, Tango. She was incredibly creative and a talented crafter. Her most loved craft was crotchet. She showed her love for her daughters in many ways but most notably by homeschooling them. There aren't enough words to describe how much she will be missed.

Sue's faith in her Creator was personal to her, but fierce none the less. The strength she commanded allowed her to put up an amazing fight to be proud of.

There will be a celebration of life gathering Sunday, May 7, 2023, to honor her memory. Family and friends will be meeting in the hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 Broad Street, Monroeville. Her daughter, Miana, will be delivering a eulogy at 3 p.m. Food and fellowship will follow.
