Sue Ann (Burkett) Proctor, 71, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born with a compassionate heart, Sue dedicated her life to caring for others. As a devoted nurse, she touched countless lives with her kindness, gentleness, and steady hands.

Family was Sue's greatest joy. She loved her children and grandchildren wholeheartedly, always putting them first and celebrating every moment she shared with them. She loved cooking for her family, especially sausage gravy. She loved spending time with her sister-in-law, Yonie and going shopping with her. Sue also enjoyed going to antique stores. Her husband was her lifelong partner for 56 years and the love of her life.

Sue's faith was the foundation of everything she did. She loved praising the Lord and lived her life with grace, gratitude, and a deep sense of purpose. She also treasured her trips to West Virginia with Yonie and Tim Waldron, and with her husband, Floyd, to visit family, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and connection.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, Floyd (Pee-Wee) Proctor; her children, Lora Proctor, Matthew Proctor and Michael (Tonya) Dillard; her grandchildren, Katelyn (Dillon) Turner and McKenzie Kerby (Owen Austin); and her great-grandchildren, Colt Turner, Rilynn, Ryder, and Rhigs.

Sue will be remembered for her warmth, unwavering love for her family, compassionate spirit, and steadfast faith. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

May she rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.

There will be no services. Celebration of life will be at a later date.
