Stevie Harold Jenkins, 68, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida. He was born July 21, 1957, in Norton, Virginia, and lived a life shaped by resilience, faith, and deep devotion to his family.

Steve graduated from Sandusky High School in 1976 and went on to work as a plumber, a trade he took pride in for many years. He genuinely enjoyed conversation and connection in his own way, often delivered with a dry wit and a great sense of humor.

On August 23, 1980, Steve married Deborah Boudinier-Jenkins at Ridgewood Chapel in Castalia, Ohio. His greatest love in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father to his daughters, and a deeply proud grandfather. His family remained his steady foundation throughout his life.

Steve was reserved by nature, yet outspoken when he felt strongly about something. He was a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1986, a commitment that reflected his determination and strength, and he served as a supporter within the program for many years. His faith was also important to him, and he led small Christian group sessions, offering insight shaped by experience rather than pretense. He enjoyed cooking and serving breakfast at Grace Church in Cape Coral.

He was a loyal fan of Cleveland sports teams and THE Ohio State Buckeyes. He also had a well-known love for food, with Toft's Dairy being a particular favorite, one of life's simple pleasures he never outgrew.

Steve is survived by his wife, Deborah; his daughters, Ashley (Bryan Ohlemacher) and Chelsey; grandchildren, Grace, Gianna, Chase, and Dominic; his mother, Margaret; brothers, Paul (Patty), Allen (Kristin), and Curt (Theresa); sister, Carolyn (Harry); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold.

A celebration of life will begin at 4 p.m. with friends and fellowship to follow until 6 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at The Chapel in Sandusky, Ohio. In honor of Steve's love for sports, guests are encouraged to wear Cleveland or OSU attire.
