Steve Goetz, 63, of Norwalk, died Monday night, Dec. 5, 2022, at Gaymont Nursing Home.

He was born Nov. 12, 1959, in Toledo, to the late Thomas and Margaret (Maytes) Goetz.

Steve loved to fish, play cards and dice, and listen to old rock and roll music. He cherished any time spent with his grandchildren, Teagan and Stephen.

In addition to his grandchildren, he is survived by his children, Stephen Goetz of Berlin Heights, Terri Goetz of New London, Tyler Goetz of Wakeman, and Brooke Goetz of Huron; friend, Lena Crookshank; and siblings, Arthur Goetz of Toledo, Robert (Nicola) Goetz of Norwalk, and Linda Anderson of Toledo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Clyde "Poncho" Goetz, Lester Goetz, Becky Goetz, Kathy Russell, and Peggy Heckel; and sister in-law, Connie Goetz.

A family-led memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk.
