Sheila M. (Maschari) York, 81, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, at Providence Care Center surrounded by her children.

She was born May 8, 1941, in Sandusky, to the late Louis and Marie (Burrows) Maschari and graduated from Sandusky High School.

She was employed by Ford Motor Company for 30 years.

Sheila loved cooking, playing the slot machines, going on family cruises, and most of all, being with her family.

She is survived by her children, Brett (Kathy) York, Brad (Kelly) York, and Maria (Scott) Bechtel; grandchildren, Casey (Ryan) Thomas, and Sarah, Jared, Shane, Samantha, Stone, Michenzi, Sheridan, Nichole, Riley, and Steven Radabaugh; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Knox, and Mary Jane.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anne Maschari; sister, Martha Bertsch; and brothers, Michael Maschari and Dan Maschari.

At her request, cremation will take place and there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sheila's name to Providence Care Center, 2025 Hayes Ave., Sandusky, or Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
