Ross Perry Obituary

Ross W. Perry, 33, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023.
He was born in Amherst and lived in Vermilion for nine years. After graduating from Summit High School in Breckenridge, Colorado, where he played football for four years and went to the state playoffs with his team, he attended University of Colorado for three years. Eventually, he returned to Ohio and made his home in Huron.
Ross was talented at machining, specifically laser machining, and CNC working at Bettchers in Vermilion and Berry Global in Monroeville. He loved his dog, Peter, snowboarding, scuba diving, playing chess, playing pool, traveling the world, music events, reading, and people as he was very outgoing. Ross was proud to say that the Sheriff commended him for saving the life of a car accident victim.
He is survived by his father, John (Tammy Sterrett) Perry; aunts and uncles, Gwendolyn and Michael Bodnar of Avon, Linda Bohland of Hindman, Kentucky, Cherie and Russell Wilson of Owingsville, Kentucky, Tab Kubishke of Wakeman, and Tom and Beverly Gano of Redding, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ross was preceded in death by his mother, Tamara K. Perry; sister, Marie Perry; aunt and uncles, Terry and Mabel Perry of Leburn, Kentucky, and Tod Gano; and grandparents, John and Rose Perry of Leburn, KY, and Paul and Hazel Kubishke of Vermilion.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839. Ross' prayer service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dick Kretchmar of Birmingham Methodist Church will preside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Huron Helping Hands Food Pantry, 820 Cleveland Rd. East, Huron, Ohio, 44839.
Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting family.

A beautiful soul and big heart Ross was loved by everyone, and was notorious for bringing joy, happiness, inspiration, and laughter, to everyone he met. He was my best friend, my brother, my confidant, We celebrated every milestone in both of our lives that we ever achieved together, the best friend I´ll ever have.. gone too soon.
