Rosemary (Uhl) Jarrett, 93, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, Dec. 15, 2022, at her home.

Rosemary was born Nov. 11, 1929, in Sandusky, to the late Edwin and Ethel (Wahlburn) Uhl.

Rosemary graduated from St Mary's High School in 1948. She was a secretary at Mark's Market for a number of years. Rosemary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, babysitting her grandchildren, and spending time with her sisters.

Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Patti (George) Scheckelhoff of Norwalk and Mary Jo Dahmen of Florida; sons, Steven (Teresa) Jarrett of Castalia and Jeff (Jill) Jarrett of Sandusky; 11 grandchildren, Steven Jr., Michael, Elizabeth, Jessica, Justin, William, Adam, Gavin, Bethanie, Brandy, and Samantha; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jarrett in 1989; sisters, Rita M. Koelsch, Betty Connors, Phyllis Schaefer, and Nancy Wahl; and brother, Robert E. Uhl.

Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, until the time of Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Father Jacob George will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.

Rosemary's family would like to thank her aide, Holly Sieger, Dr. Keller, and his staff for their wonderful care over the last several years and Perkins Fire Department.
