Ronald D. Ebinger, 86, of Milan, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born April 4, 1937, in Willard, and was a 1955 graduate of Norwalk High School. He proudly served in U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He worked for over 42 years and retired as a press operator at Tenneco. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling, photography, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed following Cleveland Indians baseball and Cleveland Browns football and solving Mensa puzzles. He put his family first and was a wonderful caretaker to all who knew him. He especially enjoyed his dog and sidekick, Skoshi.

He is survived by his children, Bart, Beverlee, and Beth (Larry) Ebinger; grandchildren, Ashlee, Aimee, Elizabeth, Mathew, Amanda, Tyler, Anthony, Amber, Taylor, and Aleesha; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria "Glo" Jean (Williams) Ebinger in 2017; parents, Walter Sr. and Roberta (Stevens) Ebinger; siblings, Walter "Bud" and Paul Ebinger, Betty Fulton, and Marvin in infancy; and granddaughter, Allison in infancy.

Visitation for friends will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Ronald's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at the funeral home with James Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
