He enjoyed NASCAR and going to the races with his brother Pat and brother–in–law, Shawn, golfing, cruising and vacationing with family and friends, decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas, and always making sure his yard was beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

Ron and his wife Cindy were best friends and did so much together creating amazing memories and a family foundation that will live on for generations. He was such a kind and special man to so many people and will be greatly missed.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Cynthia, whom he was married to for 42 years. He is also survived by his daughters, Stacey (Michelle) Carey, Heather (Craig) Poupard and Angela (Christopher) Charniga; granddaughters, Cora Charniga, Claire Charniga and Addison Poupard; mother, Martha Carey; brother, Pat (Dawn) Carey; sisters, Kathy (Shawn) Burke and Melanie (Dave) Eveland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
