Ronald Lee Blankenship, 83, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born October 4, 1942, in Columbus, to the late Palmer L. and Oleta (Case) Blankenship.
He worked at Norwalk Furniture over 10 years and worked in general maintenance and engineering in Columbus a few years. He was a member of VFW, Eagles and American Legion in Norwalk. He enjoyed going to casinos, golfing, boating and doing his yard work. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Blankenship, to whom he married in 1986; children, Ronald W. (Wendy) Blankenship, Cindy (Jerry) Wright, Darlene Blankenship, Melissa (Eddie) Coy, and Johnny Ingram; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be at a later date.
Memorial contribu-tions may be sent to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
