Rona Berezin, 90, of Mission Viejo, California, passed away June 20, 2022, at her residence at Heritage Pointe. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Rona was the daughter of Tobias and Sarah Sedley, and was the youngest of six siblings. She married the love of her life, Jay H. "Bud" Berezin of Norwalk, in 1951, and moved there to start a family while Bud ran the Fashion Shoppe clothing store. Rona enjoyed playing bridge and tennis, sailing on Lake Erie, traveling, reading, dancing, and watching classic movies. In 1980, she and Bud moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they enjoyed the warm weather, abundant parks and walking paths, and jazz concerts. Rona obtained a realtor's license while in Charlotte and worked for many years in the field. They retired to southern California in 2006. For the past several years, Rona lived at Heritage Pointe in Mission Viejo, where she enjoyed daily meals with her close group of friends. The family extends its thanks to the many staff at Heritage Pointe for their patience and expertise in caring for Rona in her final years. Rona is survived by her children, Lisa Berezin (John Hickman), Jeffrey (Maria), Steven (Anna), and Chip (Anat Shiloach); nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She will be interred with her husband at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

To the family of Rona Berlin. I am so sorry for your loss of this dear lady. I was your babysitter in Norwalk Ohio for a couple of years. First I cared for Lisa and then Jeff. I graduated from St. Paul's which took me off to college. I knew your granddad and your dad and was usually guided to the best fashion in "The Fashion Shop". Your entire family has a great memory of a well respected family. Respectfully Donna Myers
