Robert L. Wagner, 89 of Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 18, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic. He was born in Milroy, Pennsylvania, April 4, 1936, to William Strode and Georgianna (Miller) Wagner.

Robert married Sandra L. Wagner, who preceded him in death in 2010.

He worked at Norwalk Furniture for 37 years, a testament to his unwavering commitment and work ethic. Beyond his dedication to work, Robert was also a proud member of the Norwalk Eagles, where he held a cherished sense of community and camaraderie.

Robert was a man who found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially birdwatching.

Robert is survived by his son, Strode Wagner of England; partner, Patricia Wilson of Norwalk; brother, Glenn (Peggy) Wagner of Milroy, Pennsylvania; and his sister, Gracie Kluding of Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Georgianna Wagner; his beloved wife, Sandy Wagner; and his son, Bobby Wagner.

A graveside service in honor of Robert will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2025, at Milan Cemetery, 110 S. Edison Dr., Milan.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, Bellevue.
