Robert Hale Stanley Jr., 75, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 3, 2024, at Admiral's Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Robert was born Sept. 8, 1948, in Norwalk, to Robert Hale and Helen Stanley Sr., who preceded him in death.
Robert graduated from Margaretta High School in 1968. He was a veteran of U.S. Army who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was employed as an Inspector at Whirlpool for many years. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda (Skaggs) Stanley; sons, Tim (Beth Ginnever) Fleming, Todd (Cathy) Fleming, and Robert (Danielle) Stanley; grandsons, William Grayson Fleming and Ryan Nicholas Fleming; sister, Susan (Leo) Keegan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, and 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, until the time of Robert's funeral at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 East Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
