Robert Ray "Robbie" Moorman, 45, of Huron, died Monday, July 1, 2024, due to glioblastoma.

He is survived by his parents, Margaret and Stephen; brothers, Stephen Jr. and Patrick; and sisters, Jennifer and Heather.

He was born Sept. 6, 1978, seven minutes before his fraternal twin, Patrick. Being born a fraternal twin was best for Robbie as he was a complete individualist. Robbie's quick wit and fierce humor showed early, even as a toddler. He would assess situations and, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, comically and verbally dissect them. He was passionate about his work at Walmart and it was what he loved most in his life. His devotion to his parents was obvious. He truly thought his dad was Superman and his mom walked on water. He thought his oldest sister, Jennifer, was a sibling from a past life and that his older brother, Steve, was an older brother to respect. His other sister, Heather, was his partner-in-crime during the good and bad times. He loved his twin, Patrick, and had a relationship that only twins share.

He would frequently stop to get a McDonald's cheeseburger for his favorite four-footer, Daisy, his English Springer Spaniel. He loved mowing the lawn for his parents. He was an avid computer gamer and comic book collector. Everyone who knew him will forever remember his passion for superhero movies. Robert's passing creates a gap in the lives of his family and friends never to be filled. May God accept Robert with open arms.
