Rita M. Bennett, 75, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 15, 1947, in Lodi, to the late Donald and Pauline (Semai) Whitmore.
Rita loved flowers, birds, and watching Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Tonja) Bennett, with whom she resided with in Sandusky; stepgrandchildren, Virginia, Michael, and Corey; three great-grandchildren; brother, William (Janet) Whitmore of Danville; several nieces; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin sister, Rose Mary Boyd.
At her request, there will be no services and cremation will take place at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
