Richard Wilson, 69, passed away at his daughter's house in Greenwich, surrounded by family after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born August 7, 1955 in Willard, to the late Kenneth and Lois (Garner) Wilson.

Richard was a jack of all trades. He served in the army at age 18. When he got out, he worked at New Haven Supply for 18 years. He then went on to be an owner-operator of his semi and became a truck driver.

He loved fishing, camping in Florida for the winter and music. He played the steel guitar, guitar, piano and any other instrument he put in his hands. He also loved spending time with his family and grandkids.

Richard is survived by his fiancé, Anna Means; son, Chad (Alex) Wilson of Plymouth; daughters, Crystal (Scott) Geurink of Coopersville, Michigan, and Terri (Chris) Schlarb of Greenwich; grandsons, Hayden, Levi, Broc, and Gage; granddaughters, Shelbie, Alli and Laci; brothers, Mike (Sharron) Wilson, Ken Wilson, Danny (Karen) Wilson; and sisters, Lana (Denny) Perry, Deanna (Michael) Gurka, Carol (John) Bice, Jo Rios and Bobbie (Jacob) Mckenzie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lois Wilson.

Calling hours will be from 11- 1 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. Friday, May, 16, 2025, at Secor Funeral Home in Willard. Richard's funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Secor Funeral Home in Willard.
