Richard Ruffing, a proud United States Navy retiree, completed 30 years of dedicated service to his country. A man of honor, strength, and quiet generosity, Richard's life was defined by devotion to his family, to his faith, and to the nation he served.
Born in Bellevue, Ohio, Richard traveled the world with the Navy, embracing the adventure and responsibility that came with his calling. After retiring from military service, he settled in the St. Petersburg, Florida area, where he continued to build a life grounded in love, family, and steadfast values.
Richard is survived by his three daughters, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three brothers. He will be lovingly welcomed into God's arms by those who went before him, his parents, his wife, and his great-grandson.
Richard's legacy lives on in the people he loved, the stories he shared, and the example he set. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain with all who knew him.
