Rebecca Anne Franklin, beloved librarian, devoted wife, and cherished mother, joined her daughter Michelle in heaven Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Rebecca's passion for books extended beyond the shelves of the library where she worked for many years. With her warm smile, she touched the lives of countless readers. She was particularly fond of Stephen King novels, often immersing herself in his suspenseful worlds.

An avid sports enthusiast, Rebecca was a lifelong fan of Cleveland Indians and Browns, faithfully cheering for her hometown teams through victories and defeats alike. Game days were special occasions in the Franklin household, filled with team spirit and family togetherness.

Rebecca had a special place in her heart for cats, whose independent yet affectionate nature matched her own gentle spirit. Her feline companions brought her comfort and joy throughout her life.

Rebecca was adored by her husband Bill, who treasured their years together; and her son, Jeff, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and love of learning. She is also survived by her brother, Gene (Ray) Jesse.

The bond she shared with her daughter, Michelle, who preceded her in death, was unbreakable - a connection transcending time and space. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth (Baker) and Raymond Jesse.

Those who knew Rebecca will remember her for her generous spirit, her quiet strength, and her unwavering devotion to her family and community. Though she will be deeply missed, her influence lives on in the countless lives she touched through her work and her love.
