Raymond "Butch" Meyer, 71, of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Fisher-Titus Hospital, Norwalk.

He was born Sept. 20, 1951, in Bellevue, the son of Richard and Anna Marie (Dendinger) Meyer.

Ray was a member of Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490 and Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711, where he always enjoyed buying out a pull tab game. He was a loving father and cherished his time spent with his grandchildren.

She survives along with their two children, Cathy Savage of Bellevue and Craig (Maria) Meyer of Vermilion; four grandchildren, Carrington, Kevin, Henry, and Jacob; sisters, Marlene (Rick) Manbeck of Bellevue and Jeanne (Jerry) Leis of Tiffin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Nancy) Claus, Bill (Donna) Claus, Jim Claus, Kathy (Nick) Kreinbrink, Rose Fay, Ron Claus, and Betty (Steve) Wasserman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Kevin Meyer.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
