Phyllis Annette (Klein) Andres, 88, of Sandusky, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at The Meadows of Osborn Park after a lengthy illness.

She was born January 6, 1938, in Sandusky, to the late John and Catherine (Harp) Klein.

Phyllis graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957. She was a cafeteria manager at the former Monroe School. In her spare time, she read many books and enjoyed traveling with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She had many unique experiences and many fun adventures.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Karl Andres, whom she married June 7, 1958; daughter, Denise (Christopher) Murschel; son, Tim (Angela) Andres; grandchildren, Jodi Pierce and Steven Murschel, and Anne Windergren and Alexis Andres; her great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her life was also filled with wonderful friendships.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her five brothers.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A funeral service outside of Mass will begin at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
