Peggy Sue Moore, 59, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023.

She was the daughter of Lois Skinner and Robert Moore. She was born July, 18, 1964, in Morrison, Illinois. Peggy was known to most as being a loving, caring, and selfless person to her friends and family, but many will remember her for her feisty personality.

Peggy loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy worked at Miller's Landscaping for over a decade. She loved her position and the people she worked with most. Peggy also loved to ride motorcycles and gamble.

Peggy is survived by loved ones; Johnny Sugaski; children, Jesse (Dawn) Murr, Terri (Mike) Foster, Ashley (Kiley) Platte, and Pete (Tiffiny) Platte II; siblings, Christine (Cary) Boedigheimer, Rob (Mary) Moore, Gale Moore, Tim (Lisa) Moore, Juanita (George) Sharp, and Terry Lynn (Larry) Story; grandchildren, Piper, Dylan, Zachery, Kaleigh, Isaiah, Samantha, Chloe, Lydia-Jo, Carter, Corey, Mia, Parker, and Jameson. Also loved; Jon Brian <3, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Moore; mother, Lois Skinner; sister, Libby Jo Platte; brother, Gordon Moore; and ex-husband, Pete Platte.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, at Walker Eastman Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk. Private burial will be at a later date.
