Paula M. Hoover, 64, residing in Sandusky, entered her heavenly home Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Paula was born February 25, 1961, in Sandusky, to the late Paul Phillips and Jessie (Cordle) Clifton.

Paula's greatest joy in life was her family, whom she will forever be cherished by. She is survived by her children, April (Joe) Ring, Adam Phillips, Melissa Alvarez, Michael Hoover, and Cheyenne Hoover; her devoted husband of 42 years, Gary Hoover; eight beloved grandchildren; her sister, Linda Herrmann; brother, Jerry Clifton; and special nieces, Carol Matheny, Amanda Dillery, and Kandy Pedoli. She also leaves behind a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Paula is preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Larry Clifton.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting family with arrangements.
