Patricia Weisenberger, 78, left this earth to go home unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 5, 2022.
She was born May 14, 1944, in Amherst, to the late Michael and Anna (Gersack) Sugerik.
Pat was a special, thoughtful, strong-willed, and selfless woman. A L.P.N. for 43 years at Gaymont Nursing Home, Pat continued working well after being able to retire at Norwalk Area Food Bank and Norwalk Raceway, even until very recent weeks. Pat had a knack for making special moments more special and even more memorable, especially when it came to the holidays and birthdays. She loved flower gardening and feeding wild birds with her collection of feeders. She would do anything to make others feel special and loved. She assisted her loving husband and helped take care of their home (five acres). Pat never judged anyone and was a reliable source of support to anyone who needed it.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Denny Weisenberger; their son, Erick (Misty) Weisenberger of Huron; grandchildren, Millicent "Milly" Weisenberger and Kyrstin "Lou" (Edwin "Teddy") Ward; sisters, Sally Vandengoorbergh and Sue Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaci Lulow; and brother in-law, David Schultz.
Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio, 44857, with Fr. Michael Bialorucki officiating.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 50 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105, or The Norwalk Area Food Bank, 99 Whittlesey Ave., Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
