Having known Norma for many years, I I always admired her independent spirit. She accomplished many things in her life with what I consider a quiet, determined spirit. Norma didn´t judge people, rather, she accepted them as they were. A rare quality. She will be missed.

She was my teacher as well back in the day. Remember her first as Miss Lentz. As a child, (in the 60's) I was in awe as she was the first person I ever met that had contact lenses!

She was my 5th grade teacher. I always liked how she wore her hair up and put a pencil in her hair, so she always had one available!
