Nancy L. Stuckey, 78, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Gaymont Nursing Center with her loving family by her side.
Nancy was born July 17, 1944, in Sandusky, to the late Richard Wightman and Lucille Woodruff Wightman.
When her family was young, Nancy was a loving homemaker. She worked in the cafeteria and deli at K-MART for many years and was also a cook for Norwalk City Schools. Nancy was a long-time seller of Avon products. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and other games, and being social with her friends. Nancy was also a skilled seamstress and made clothes for her loved ones. She was a life-long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Nancy is survived by her children, Lorrie Stuckey of Norwalk and Jeff (Steve Emerson) Stuckey of Columbus; twp beloved cats, Coco and Spooky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Stuckey Jr.; and four siblings, Marilyn Straub, Bonnie Wunder, Dick Wightman, and Bill Wightman.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Nancy's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's honor can be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia, 22116.

Lorrie, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I really enjoyed buying Avon from her. Her article is very interesting when she used to work at KMart deli. I didn't know Norwalk KMart used to have a deli.
