Nancy I. Carnicom, age 92, of Pemberville, and formerly of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Otterbein SeniorLife in Pemberville. She was born Nancy Kreilick, March 23, 1933, in Fremont, to Lester W. and Irene (Oller) Kreilick Sr. She married Ronald Carnicom, December 25, 1951, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in New Rochester. Nancy and Ron were blessed with a son and daughter, and celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage together, until Ron's passing in November of 2001.

In addition to being a homemaker, Nancy, worked outside of the home once her children grew up. She worked as a computer operator at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, then at Chapin & Chapin Co. in Norwalk. A woman of faith, Nancy was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Luckey. She enjoyed music, genealogy, playing cards, painting, and quilting. However, it was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren that remained her greatest joy.

Nancy is survived by her children, Daniel (Jean Ruotsinoja) Carnicom of Minnesota, and Elizabeth (Mike) Hagen of Bowling Green; grandchildren, John (Melissa) Griggs, Andrew (Lena) Griggs, Jessica and Abbey; great-grandchildren, Jack, Grace, and Lilly; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband Ron, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlotte Hause; and brother, Lester (Sara) Kreilick Jr.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Nancy will be laid to rest next to Ron in Oakwood Cemetery Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to, Faith United Methodist Church in Luckey.
