Michael R. Chaffee, 44, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 8, 1978, in Norwalk, to the late Michael R. and Nancy (James) Chaffee. He attended New London High School and worked many years in construction and at Brooker Brothers in Norwalk.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, bon fires, and playing pool, being active in pool leagues. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing Call of Duty and other video games.
He is survived by his wife of two years, Vickie (Todd) Chaffee; children, Timothy Todd, Pauline (Adam) Wright, Trinity Chaffee, and Domonic Chaffee; siblings, Marcus (Maryann) Chaffee, Richard Chaffee, and Rachael Chaffee; grandchildren, Grayson and Willow; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Nicholas Chaffee.
A celebration of life gathering will be 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be later.
