Mary Thomas Obituary

Mary "Beth" Thomas

Nov 12, 1955 - Aug 29, 2023

Norwalk

Mary "Beth" Thomas, 67, residing in Norwalk, passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 29, 2023, at Ebeid Promedica Hospice, Sylvania.

Beth was born Nov. 12, 1955, in Tallmadge, to Rose (Nider) Nedrow and Roy Nedrow. Employed at Berry Plastics, the company moved Beth from Las Vegas to Norwalk, where she continued to work until she retired. Beth was very strong-willed and leaned very heavily on her faith in God. She believed that "We could do all things through Christ who strengthens us" and as a woman who enjoyed tending to her garden, she never missed an opportunity to plant a seed of faith. She enjoyed fishing and whether she was listening, playing, or singing, Beth loved music and had a special talent. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Beth is survived by her husband, Greg Thomas; son, Jason Kwortek; three brothers, Kenny, Kevin, and Keith; and sister, Debbie.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Pam.

At Beth's request, cremation will take place and no services will take place at this time.

Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist family with arrangements.

Beth loved her puppy dogs and believed the best dogs were rescues. Memorial contributions in Beth's memory can be made to Huron County Humane Society.

I remember meeting Beth for the first time when she moved here from Las Vegas. I helped her and Greg find an apartment and we ended up as neighbors. She'd give my little ones Oreos.
