Mary L. Perry of Bellevue gained her angel wings Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Mary attended Huron High School and was employed at Meijer and Brooks Cleaning Service over the years. She was especially proud to be a heart transplant recipient, having been blessed with 31 years as of May 23, 2025, a milestone that reflected her strength, resilience, and gratitude for life.

Mary found joy in many simple pleasures. She loved gambling, going to concerts and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also had a special love for caring for her plants and flowers, nurturing them with the same care she showed to those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, who is also a heart transplant recipient, Teresa (Bollinger) Brooks; Mary's partner, Pete Kowpak; sister, Linda (Rocky) Callihan; sister-in-law, Shirley Bostater; grandchildren, Erika (Tony) Palmison, Aimee(Cody) Wiley, Autumn Bodi, Ashley Brooks, and Danielle Bodi; former husband, Denny Perry; great-grandchildren, Aubree, and Emma Palmison, Forest, Atlas and Delilah Wiley; stepdaughters, Angel and Becky Kowpak and Shelby Kubitz; stepgrandchildren, Arianah Adkins, Alycia, Nicholas, and Anaysya Kubitz; stepgreat-grandchildren, Antonio Jr. and Aliyah Adkins, and Khaloni Kubitz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Bostater Sr. and Ellenora (Bostater) Mingus; stepfather Charlie Mingus; her son Russel "Russ" Bollinger II; brother Henry Bostater Jr.; sister, Rite Smith; her first husband, Brian Bollinger; and numerous other beloved relatives.

In accordance with Mary's wishes, no services will take place. Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting the family.
