Marilyn Joy Beal, 92, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully Monday, March 10, 2025, at her residence.

Marilyn was born September 19, 1932, in Medina and graduated from Wellington High School. She attended Kent State University after graduation. Marilyn worked for many years as an office clerk at the Collins Elevator and as a cashier at the former Vanson's Restaurant. She had a passion for reading.

She is survived by two children, Jennifer Beal of Monroeville and Jeffrey (Cynthia) Beal of Shelby; four grandchildren, Brian (Annie) Dellinger, Amy (Keith) Zimmerman, Samantha Hunt, and Haley Gregory; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy Bement, Harriet (Bill) Bement, and Kay Cleavenger; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Dellinger in 2024; her father, Dannie Steffens; her mother and stepfather, Verna (Perkins) and Milo Myers; and one sister, Joyce Dennison.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville.
