Margaret Claire "Peggy" Wahl

Sandusky
Margaret Claire "Peggy" Wahl, 89, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, June 28, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. Born February 11, 1936, in Sandusky, daughter of the late Maurice Clifton and Margaret Catherine (Tebbutt) Tyler. She was a 1954 Graduate of Sandusky High School and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Her chosen career was as a homemaker, wife and mother. In years past, after raising her family, she had been employed in office work, both as a secretary and office manager. She worked for Union Chain, Inc., Bobel's, Denzer's Office Supply, and then at The Harbourview Apartments, retiring in 2006. After retiring, she began working as a crossing guard for Sandusky City Schools.
She took great pride in her home, purchasing it and then lovingly restoring it from floor to ceiling.
Family was the joy of her life. She loved spending time with her children, later her grandchildren, and eventually her great-grandchildren. Her relationship with them was close and loving; the loss of her presence will be felt by all.
Peggy is survived by her children, John (Linda) Turinsky, Bill Wahl, Cathy (Ernie) Ettorre, Diane Nader, Michael (Sharyl) Wahl, Theresa (Brett) Carmel, and Thomas Wahl; her grandchildren, Josh (Brianne) Wahl, Jeremy (McKenzie) Wahl, Brandon (Samantha) Turinsky, Athena (Josh) Werner, Nathaniel (Talia) Wahl, Roman (Angelica) Ettorre, Caroline Wahl, David (Marla) Wahl, Sophie Nader, Dylan Shea, Mason Carmel, Maddie "Q" Carmel, and Greer Wahl; her great-grandchildren, Aria, Quinn, and Luca Wahl, Daisy and Ivy Werner, Blaise and Laiken Wahl.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2025, at David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, July 8, 2025, at the funeral home, with Deacon Jeff Claar officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
