Margaret J. Davies, 92, of North Fairfield, passed away Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born Jan. 28, 1931, in Mansfield, to Marie (Lehnhart) and Clarence Dillon. Margaret married Dr. Richard O. Davies who preceded her in death April 4, 2018, after 65 years of marriage. She was a RN and assisted her husband in his medical office. She was a member of Norwalk First United Methodist Church, an avid book reader, loved traveling with her husband, and her dog, Murphy, was her life.
Margaret is survived by three daughters, Ann (Vernon) Baxter, Jane (Dean) Sweeting, and Melissa (Jeff) Watson; six grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Howard, John and Jeffrey Sweeting, and Will and David Watson; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Schuttera; and caregiver, Kayla Bivens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Maxine Conner.
Per Margaret's request, there will be no visitation or services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Huron County Humane Society, 248 Woodlawn Ave., Norwalk, Ohio, 44857, or Southern Care Hospice, 9501 US Highway 250 N Ste 2, Milan, Ohio, 44846.
The staff of Walker Eastman Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, assisted family with arrangements.
