Marcha Ann Kieffer, 71, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the home of her daughter, Tammy McClain.
She was born Feb. 18, 1953, in Lorain, to Clyde and Noma (Stoll) Collins. She lived in Vermilion and Sandusky.
She retired from I.A.C. after 23 years and also worked for Cheasapeake, Displayco for 10 years.
Marcha loved her country music, her dogs, laying in the pool or on the beach, fishing, and reading books with her great-grandchildren and telling stories. She was always there to help her children and grandchildren and she was union proud.
She is survived by her children, Mark G. (Stephanie Fox) McClain of Columbus and Tammy M. (Jerry Modic) McClain of Sandusky; seven grandchildren, Jonicee Young, Jah'sen Young, Jonathon Young Jr., Jeremy McClain, Cheyenne McClain, Micah McClain, and Dakota McClain; five great-grandchildren, Jayden Young, Jah'symeon Young, Jahziel Young, Rin'aziah Mopre, and La'Zell Mopre; and lifelong partner, Jerome M. Kieffer Jr.
Marcha was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Glenda Lee Smith and Leathea Lynch; and brother, Bud Collins.
Visitation for friends will be 4 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, until the time of Marcha's memorial services at 5 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Eric County Humane Society or the family.
