Just found out today of Mabel's passing. I will always remember her because she befriended me when were both in the 3rd grade and I had just moved from Pleasant St School district to League St School. She didn't know me from "Adam", but immediately came up to me with a big smile, held out her hand and introduced herself to me. Little did we know that we both lived on the same street. That memory has stuck with me for over 60 years. This just goes to show what a selfless and caring person she has been her whole life. We need more people like her in this world. Your friend from Glover Street.

Mable was a one-of-a-kind co-worker. She made us laugh, worked hard and had great instincts for the job. Even though we hadn't seen her for the better part of 40 years we remember her fondly.
