Lowell was my Vo-Ag teacher at Edon High School, and I graduated in 1963, and he became superintendent. He was a great teacher with patience and understanding of the times. I so appreciate his guidance and support during our FFA program at Edon. Rest in peace sir!

Lowell was a good neighbor. I will never forget his loyalty to his back door neighbor, Kay Van Scoy. He had a very kind heat.

I was a teacher at South Central High School in the 70's. Mr. Etzler hired me as first year teacher. He took a chance on me. For that, I am forever grateful. A good man who understood the community.
