Lorraine "Laurie" M. Lassley, 66, of New London, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born Jan. 31, 1956, in Norwalk, to the late Elmer J. and LaVerne M. (Janotta) Dials. She was a 1974 graduate of Norwalk High School. She raised her family in Conifer, Colorado, and was a pharmacy tech for many years. She was an avid Ohio State University Buckeyes fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Steve Lassley; son, Brandon Lassley of Kentucky; siblings, Barb (Ken) Heath of Indian Hills, Colorado, and John (Diane) Dials of Norwalk; and her dogs, Zeke and Elsa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Mike Dials in 2002.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Lorraine's funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk, with the Rev. Francis Mariadas officiating. Private interment will be at a later date at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Norwalk.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
