Lois Levan Obituary

I can't believe it's been a year already! We still miss Lois greatly and speak of her often. She was someone we will never forget! May you have a blessed day of fond memories of your dear loved one. Mary Leep

Life seems to pass us by so quickly it seems like only yesterday we
were reading National Geographic on one of the sofas at your house,
picking fruit or vegetables in the back yard, or enjoying cookies or
cake in the kitchen.

I often think about being part of your wedding in Norwalk, the reception
in Cleveland and meeting Joe´s family.

Joe I wish you and family strength, memories and all of the good things
that made Lois who she was.

The birthday and Christmas cards she sent always made me smile and
brought many memories of our youth.

Bless you all with my fondest and kindness thoughts and memories...

We were very saddened to hear about Lois. We have many fond memories of special times with her and your family.

She has certainly touched the hearts of many people.

Lois was one of the sweetest gals I know. I knew her from our workouts at the Kentwood pool and coffee gatherings after, and from monthly lunches with our group of "mermaids". She was the one who hovered each of us, making sure we knew the joys and sorrows of each of our members, prayed for us and checked up on us. She was the "keeper of the lists" of who was going and who was not, made reservations for us whenever we had an upcoming event. We had far too little time to care for her as she did for us. She will be sorely missed by each of us. Lois, I'm looking forward to seeing you again in heaven.

Shared a lifetime with Lois. I keep looking at her beautiful face and so hard to believe she is gone to heaven. We shared having children together. We shared having grandchildren together. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother. Such a good life, well lived. Words to describe her would be smart, talented, positive, energetic...she really was a star in her own life. I will miss her always. Love you Lois xxoo

Very sorry for your loss. I have some great memories from childhood of Aunt Lois and all the Levans.

Lois was a great lady. Always a smile on her face and a kind word. Never forgot others. Usually the first with a card or to offer a meal or moral support. She will be missed by all of us at Crystal Springs.

As a fellow " mermaid" I got to know Lois well, she was our " Social Secretary " and kept us informed when anyone needed help or prayers, she will be greatly missed! Colleen
