Linda Sue (Conklin) White, 81, residing in Fostoria, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 20, 2023, at Promedica Fostoria Community Hospital.
Linda was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Sandusky, to Richard and Gertrude (McGinness) Conklin.
Linda graduated from Sandusky High School in 1960. She furthered her education at Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, and received her bachelor's degree. She was employed as a Para Professional. Linda was a member of Huron United Methodist Church and Pi Gamma MU Sorority. She was also a senator for Silver Hair Legislature in Missouri. She also enjoyed volunteering, camping, boating, and traveling with Rex to car races. She never met a stranger and her greatest joy were her children.
Linda is survived by her sons, Earl (Anna Delarosa) White Jr. of Fostoria, Chad (Vicki) White of Springfield, Missouri, and Nathan White of Springfield, Missouri; life partner, Rex Houseman of Huron; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Ricky Allen White.
Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Linda's funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Hiser presiding. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
