Linda Ann Hanneman, 62, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at Cleveland MetroHealth.

Linda was born Nov. 11, 1960, in Norwalk, to Mary Ann (Bertsch) Ott and Paul Ott. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Monroeville High School in 1979. Linda was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Peru, and the Ladies of St. Alphonsus. She retired from Norwalk City Schools, worked for Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, and assisted elderly families with basic in-home cleaning, shopping, and other needs. Linda truly had a servant's heart and spent her free time helping others and being devoted to her family. She never complained and consistently put the needs of others before her own. Linda was very giving to friends, family, and strangers alike.

Linda is survived by her husband, Larry Hanneman; children, Andrew (Adrianne) Hanneman of Rocky River, Amanda Hanneman of Norwalk, Michael Hanneman of Norwalk, and Joshua Hanneman of Strongsville; grandchildren, Oliver and Nolan; siblings, Darlene (Dave) Krupp, Paul (Monica) Ott, Dennis (Jill) Ott, Nancy (Scott) Sisson, and David Ott; siblings-in-law, Gerald (Mary) Hanneman, Mary Ellen (Dan) Klear, Daniel (Pat) Hanneman, and Doris (Jay) Schroeder; and very dear friends, Judy Simon and Liz Scheid.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Mary Ann and Francis Hanneman; and brother in infancy, Andrew Ott, who also passed on August 3.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Road, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
