Linda Lou (Muschitz) Elmiger, 86, of Collins, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 1, 1938, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to George and Winifred Gagnon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, trips to the ocean, and her summer visits with her family back in Massachusetts. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Norwalk.
Linda is survived by her children, Michael (Jackie) Muschitz, Michelle (Rick) Dunfee, Dennis Muschitz, Daniel (Vanessa) Muschitz, David Muschitz, Diana Solatare, and Doug Elmiger; grandchildren, Michael P. Muschitz, Morgan B. Muschitz, Alina Muschitz, Rachael Dunfee, Chad (Erica) Dunfee, Alan Elmiger, and Anthony Solarte; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Brenda Hamilton and Kent Gagnon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Douglas A. Elmiger in 2023.
A celebration of life service will be announced later at Calvary Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Calvary Baptist Church, 250 Benedict Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.
