Lesley P. Cochran, 80, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025, in Indiana. Born September 11, 1945, in Romeford, England, Lesley was the daughter of Paul S. and Vera R. (Beavan) Baker. She resided in Norwalk for 20 years and then in Mansfield for 14 years before settling in Sweetser, Indiana. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1963 and went on to earn an associate degree. A die maker at General Motors, Lesley retired in 1998 after 19 years.
She found great peace in her Bible studies. Lesley was passionate about learning – she loved learning about computer operations and how to manage and understand her healthcare issues. Another interest was understanding American history and staying up to date with current events. Lesley also enjoys visiting casinos – both in and out of state.
Lesley is survived by her loving husband, James Cochran; sons, Loren E. Greene of Lima, Eric E. Greene of Bluffton, and Steve J. Wilcox of Monroeville; grandson, Patrick E. Greene of Lima; and siblings, David (Linda) Baker of Jacksonville, Florida, Maureen (Curtis) Johnston of Tehachapi, California, Lorraine (Arthur) Barrette of Milan, Robin Baker of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara (Ken) Richardson of Maricopa, Arizona, Marjorie (Bruce) Sanford of Norwalk, and Richard Baker of Jacksonville, Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Ungerer and brother, Terrance Baker.
Friends and family will be received from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2025. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Cemetery.
