Lena McMahon Obituary

Lena McMahon, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on August 27, 2025, peacefully with her family at her side in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Parkview Hospital. A proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lena's greatest joy in life was her family, whom she cherished and celebrated endlessly. Lena gave generously of her time to McMahon's Best One, volunteering as a coach and passionate travel planner. Lena was a devoted member of St. Charles Church where she served faithfully as a eucharist minister. Those blessed to know Lena knew her as truly one of a kind, full of endless spirit and living every day to the fullest. Surviving is her husband, Patrick McMahon, sons Patrick "Bubba" McMahon (Kimberly) and Donald McMahon (Theresa), daughters Kathleen Hook (Kenneth), Jennifer McMahon (Robert Tuttle) and Paula McMahon, 9 grand-children, 4 great grandchildren, and siblings, Lucia Hardy-Roger, Donald DeDonatis Sr., and Anthony DeDonatis. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Stella Twork and Romero DeDonatis. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4910 Trier Road, Fort Wayne with calling from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Veterans National Memorial Shrine.
