Lacy D. "DJ" Shepherd Jr., 32, passed on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his home in Lakemore. He was born July 30, 1992, in Mansfield to Lacy Shepherd Sr. and Angie Mullins and was a 2010 South Central High School graduate.
DJ was an avid Cleveland sports fan, and if you knew him he had the tattoos to prove it. He enjoyed going to concerts, kayaking, golfing, hunting, camping, and hanging out with his family and friends, especially the "three amigos." DJ was a hard worker, most recently for Mack Concrete.
He is survived by his parents, Angie (Ray) Mullins and Lacy (Pam) Shepherd Sr.; siblings, Brittany Morgan Shepherd, Jason Hout, Austin Burkhalter, Maelyn Carney, and Nathan Beverly; girlfriend, Ashli Phillips; nieces and nephews, Zayden, Madyn, Kaydence, Jacob, Madison, Ashton, Trey, Kendall and Cam; two great nephews, lots of cousins, and dog and companion "Bentley".
DJ was preceded in death by all of his grandparents; and a niece, Aubree.
Visitation for DJ will take place from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Bethel Chapel, 575 US-250, Savannah, OH 44874, with Pastor Bob Brown officiating. Burial is to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home, to help with expenses.
