Kurtis T. Beatty, 44, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 2, 2024, at home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1980, in Norwalk, to Mark and Vickie (Smith) Beatty. Kurt graduated from Norwalk St. Paul High School in 1998 and Heidelberg University in 2002.
After college, Kurt moved to Columbus where he was a mortgage broker. He was a movie buff who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends (especially his daughter, Mia), watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, and all Cleveland sports teams.
Kurt is survived by his daughter, Mia Claire of New Albany; parents, Mark and Vickie Beatty; brother, Daniel and Stephanie Beatty; and nephews, Mason and Logan Beatty.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Sally Smith; and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Carolyn Beatty.
Burial will be private with the family.

Deepest condolences. Kurt was a friend and great man. Sorry to hear of this so late. He will be greatly missed. I have fun memories of Kurt at real estate events years ago and sadly we lost touch. Nevertheless, love and prayers to Mia and family.
